Sightings at CoHo – Camassia

Posted on April 20, 2016April 14, 2017 by CoHo Ecovillage

The Camas are blooming!

CoHo is preserving a native Corvallis plant species - Camassia. They don't just look pretty...they are edible! And they attract pollinators. Did you know that purple is rare in nature? Purple also has a variety of effects on the mind and body, including uplifting spirits and calming the mind and nerves.

CoHo wants to preserve this native plant. Purple is rare in nature, but we appreciate having it in our community! Camas attracts pollinators! :-)
