CoHo Supermoon

Tonight we had the pleasure of seeing a supermoon. With the clear sky it lit up our path and was very bright.   Did you know that some earthquakes and tsunamis have been linked to supermoons? Crazy! No natural disasters have been reported at CoHo or in Corvallis at the time of this writing.

Cherry-Picking Cherries

It’s that time of year again, where fruit begins to ripen around CoHo and is ready for picking. There are some cherry trees that have produced pretty well over the last couple of years, but sometimes we’ve been too late to get them before the birds! As the trees grow taller, we need brave people […]

Education Celebration

CoHo encourages education. Corvallis is one of America’s smartest and highest educated cities. We’ve had several recent days of ice, snow and sleet, but today it’s […]

Here at CoHo, we’ve got a few bicycling enthusiasts (one a former frame builder, another a bike mechanic) and lots of people who ride […]

Oregon is a great state to have an electric vehicle because we have the highest number of DC fast charging stations in the nation! Check out the Drive […]

Sightings at CoHo – Praying Mantis

We had a visitor hanging out around the mailboxes…a mantis. Looks like an African Mantis. They are supposed to like temperate and tropical climates, so either Oregon has some nice weather in mid-September or we’re experiencing abnormal climate here (what do you think about climate change?).   Not sure if this is a male or […]
