Carpool, bus or bike over to CoHo on Saturday, August 4th and tour our intergenerational cohousing community (with residents from <1 to 101).
CoHo is located at 1975 SE Crystal Lake Drive in southtown. The cross street is Alexander. Vehicles can be parked anywhere in our parking lot. Bikes can be locked up near the Common House. Bus #6 arrives at approximately :00 and :30 each hour at Ryan and Alexander, two blocks from CoHo.
We’ll start the tour at the Common House at 10:30am. Assuming lots of sunshine (a fair assumption for Corvallis in August), you’ll get to see a myriad of colorful rainbows from the solar art installation in the tower of the atrium. The rainbows travel throughout the building in the morning (locations also vary by the season). Check out the 4-part series on this blog by searching for “sunshine and rainbows.”
We’ll tour the CoHo facilities and talk about life in community. We’ll also tour a unit for sale (a two-bedroom townhouse in building 8).
