I was born in Fowler, California. I grew up in Indio, California. I went to school at OSU. I met my former husband there. I married in 1967 and I had 2 children. Leah, born in 1968 is now married and living in Adelanto, California. My son, J J and his wife are living in Visalia, California. I am the proud grandmother of Savannah (2001) and Siella (2005).

I spent 22 years as a pharmaceutical sales representative in Los Angeles and in Oregon, we moved to Oregon in 1988. In 1991, my ex and I divorced after 24 years of marriage. In 1994, I was downsized. I went back to OSU and renewed my teaching certificate. I taught at McKay high school for the past 8+ years and am now retired.

Since my divorce, I have been interested in Spiritual Counseling. I am in the process of making a third career change as a Spiritual Counselor. I am interested in Astrology, hands-on-healing and the spiritual evolution of mankind. As I was indoctrinated into the mainstream American culture, I was unaware of my own cultural heritage. I have since discovered my Native American and Mexican roots. I am in the process of learning more about them.

Since this "awakening" on my part, I have realized that humankind is all one. We all have the same strengths, weaknesses and desires, regardless of race or culture. I became aware of my deep need for a community. Community is how the human race has evolved. I find that I prefer community to living in isolation. This is what brought me to CoHo. I have found my community.
